This November, he will be cycling a whopping 1200km from Brisbane to Sydney in five days – that's 240km a day. Sebastian has roped his childhood pal Charlie Gilmour along for the ride, who will be following him in the van that will become Sebastian's bed and medical supply vehicle. Sebastian said: "I've been warned that the terrain is very, very harsh with temperatures in excess of 40°C. For a 24-year-old pale ginger lad with stick legs, this is going to be tough!"

The cycle ride in memory of his father, Simon, aims to raise £8,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Sebastian and Charlie are scheduled to leave Brisbane at 6pm on Sunday 22nd November and arrive at Sydney Opera House at 6pm on Friday 27th November. You can follow their journey here and donate by clicking here.

We wish you – and your thighs – plenty of luck, Sebastian.
