Life

What upcoming project(s) are you most excited about?

I’ve been working on my debut album now for a while and it’s finally coming together. It’s going be released this year. I AM EXCITED.

What is your proudest professional accomplishment?

I think being nominated for a Grammy is definitely up there.

Having said that I think when my album is released on vinyl will, I imagine, really feel like an accomplishment too.

If you could change one thing about your career, what would it be?

I wish I started playing live earlier than I did. I think I put it off for a while because it was expensive and seemed like an arduous task.

When I eventual played my first show I loved it and have done since.

What do you hope to achieve that you haven’t yet?

I’d really love to play at Brixton Academy. I’ve supported different acts there but never played my own show. I think that’ll be a big milestone for me.

Outside of your family, who is / was your biggest inspiration?

Kings of Leon was always my biggest inspiration. They made me want to start playing and writing music.

Tell us something nobody knows about you…

I love country music.

Worst thing about lockdown?

Can’t travel the world.

If you could be locked down with one person, alive or dead, who would it be?

My fiancé
