Brrrr! The sun may have buggered off and left us for another year, but we're not complaining. Now's the season to embrace hot cocktails, cosy blankets and ALL the food. Get yourself down to these seasonal-themed pop-ups to celebrate all that's great about Great British Wintertime (yep, that's definitely a thing.)

Le Pont de la Tour
If fondue's your thing, Le Pont de la Tour's menu at its Winter Garden is the big cheese of pop-ups. Head chef Frederick Forster has created a dedicated fondue menu, featuring alternative spins on the traditional dish including Perigord truffle fondue and a delicious Valrhona chocolate number served with marshmallow, chocolate brownies, bananas and strawberries. The newly relaunched restaurant has a terrace that looks out across Tower Bridge, which comes adorned with fairy lights and snug fur blankets until the end of February. lepontdelatour.co.uk
Lodge d'Argent
If you're still mourning summer and your faded tan, Coq d'Argent's rooftop terrace is a good place to drown your sorrows and welcome the winter chill. The restaurant has been transformed into French ski chalet The Lodge, complete with vintage skis, snow globes and furry blankets, while sustenance comes in the comforting form of fondue, tartiflette, venison burger and chestnut macaroons. Cocktails will be mainly served hot to warm those cockles.

Forest Restaurant and Cabin Bar, Selfridges
When Oxford Street shopping gets too manic, seek refuge on the roof of Selfridges, which Des McDonald of Q Grill and Holborn Dining Room fame has turned into an autumnal woodland pop-up. If winter foraging is what you do for kicks you'll love the wintry menu, which is inspired by trips to British forests and includes such glutenous delights as Windsor Estate mallard on toast, baked game meatballs, and wild highland roe deer fillet with kale and elderberry sauce. Once you've downed a Gingerbread Chocktail or three, wobble on over to the champagne photobooth to pull some silly faces which'll be printed onto a mini bottle of Moët. That's your mum's Christmas present sorted.

Rooftop Winter Cinema at the Berkeley
Before you start freaking out about being cold, don't worry: freezing your cajones off won't be an option at the Berkeley's rooftop cinema thanks to heaps of thick Moncler feather blankets and outdoor heat lamps. Watch classics like Miracle on 34th Street and Polar Express on the big screen while nestling with a hot water bottle and looking out across a lit-up Hyde Park at night.
