Take in the tennis at Bingham Riverhouse

Failed to get tickets for Centre Court? Lucky you: boutique Richmond hotel Bingham Riverhouse is hosting a dedicated Wimbledon Lounge that sounds far more appealing

Wimbledon is nearly upon us! Didn’t manage to secure Centre Court tickets and don’t fancy queuing up at 5am? Bingham Riverhouse has you covered: the Richmond hotel and members’ club is launching a dedicated Wimbledon Lounge for the fortnight.

What can you expect? First and foremost, an idyllic riverside setting that will make you the envy of Instagram. Combine the sunny Thames with a Georgian manor house straight out of Bridgerton. Enormous screens will showcase all the main matches from SE19 and the garden offers ample opportunity to enjoy the sun.

There’s also a specially crafted Club Menu to ensure you have something to counterbalance the Pimm’s. Small plates include crispy haddock arancini with curry mayonnaise and fried buttermilk chicken with smoked garlic aioli, while there are also sharing boards such as riverhouse salmon rillettes with sourdough crisps, cucumber salad and gooseberry dressing. Ace!

Bingham Riverhouse is widely considered one of London’s finest boutique hotels. Owned and operated for more than 30 years by the Trinder family, and recently refurbished by award-winning interior designer Nicola Harding, the property offers old-school family service within all the modern amenities and decor.

The kitchen is led by Masterchef: The Professionals winner Steven Edwards and also has a private members’ club offering. Great food, beautiful views and splendid accommodation should you require. Now all you need is Emma Raducanu to win in straight sets.
