What do you get when you put a banker and a lawyer together? An East London street food festival, of course. It may sound unlikely, but the burgeoning Urban Food Fest is indisputable evidence. It's back, with an eclectic collection of street food vendors, and you can find it returning to its natural habitat of the car park (162-167 Shoreditch High Street) just north of Shoreditch High Street station
In the same fashion as last time, you can expect to be surrounded by gourmet food trucks serving some of the best globally-influenced, artisanal street food in London, with dishes exclusive to the festival, and all washed down with cocktails and (of course) craft beers. Expect everything from tacos to frogs' legs. The festival takes place every Saturday, starting from 28 March 2015, kicking off at 5pm and running until midnight. Entry's free and the trucks change weekly, so multiple visits are encouraged. And don't worry if you miss the first few, the festival runs every Saturday until December 2015.
