First Song you fell in love with?
Ed Sheeran - Small Bump. I fell in love with this song because of the lyrics, they are so connecting and so powerful, the way that Ed writes his songs is so inspiring as when you listen to them you get the whole image and story in your head and feel like you’re in that situation.
Most recent track you fell in love with?
DVBBS - Not Going Home. I recently listened to this when a producer showed me his previous work when I was about to write with him, and after I left the studio it played in a Spotify Playlist and I listen to it everyday now, its such a great tune!
Track to start your day with?
Jeremih - Impatient. Depends which mood you are in, I usually wake up and need to wake up and get out of my sleep mode so I would put on a track like that, which isn’t too overpowering but has a feel good beat to it.
Track that always cheers you up?
Chris Brown - Back To Sleep Remix. This is such a happy tune, and always a good sing-along song.
Track to get you in the mood for a night out?
In My Room (feat. Ty Dolla Sign & Tyga). I listen to these types of songs as these are the songs that I will hear out on the dance floor in a bar/club! So it really gets me in the mood to get ready and go out to dance!
Track to play in the bedroom?
Tori Kelly Ft. Ed Sheeran - I Was Made For Loving You. This is such a lovely song, you only have to listen to the lyrics to realise why it would be a good song for the bedroom!
Track you wish you’d written?
Lukas Graham - 7 Years. What a clever song, the words take you on a journey through out his life, and the song never gets old. Such a lovely songwriting concept.
If you could only listen to one track for the rest of your life?
The Shires - I Just Wanna Love You. This is one of my favourite songs, and is completely country but I absolutely love it, and would have it as my wedding first dance song too!
First track at your wedding?
Think I may have answered this in the previous question. The Shires - I Just Wanna Love you.
Track to play at your funeral?
Lighthouse - Patrick Watson. Heard this on an Ikea advert recently and think its such a beautiful track. I don’t really like where the end goes though but apart from that I love it, think its really emotional.
Track of yours that you’re most proud of?
I’m not sure if it will ever be released but I absolutely love one song I wrote called A Better Life. It has real orchestral strings in, its a beautiful emotional ballad.
Recent track of yours that you want to share with us?
I am actually in the studio now in Berlin whilst writing these answers, just written a song called ‘We’ve Got This’, and I love it! Hopefully you can hear it soon ;-)
