Elijah Craig is celebrating its status as the Official Bourbon of the Ryder Cup with a special release crafted exclusively for this year’s competition, taking place at Bethpage Black, New York, from 23–28 September 2025.
Just 700 bottles are coming to the UK, each finished with toasted staves made from 75% sugar maple and 25% applewood – a nod to New York’s famous Empire State tree and apple orchards.
The result? A Bourbon bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV) that leads with aromas of rich maple syrup and apple pie. On the palate, expect caramel and candied apples with a soft, warming finish of chocolate, cocoa and a final hit of pepper to keep things in check. In short: it’s autumn in a glass.
Presented in a commemorative gift box and sealed with a gold-stamped cork, the bottle is as collectible as it is drinkable. For golf fans, it’s the perfect way to toast Team Europe – not least Elijah Craig’s own Golf Ambassador Bob MacIntyre, who returns for his second Ryder Cup.
“Elijah Craig’s world-renowned Bourbon will once again be an incredible part of the spectator experience at the Ryder Cup,” said Luke Reissman, PGA of America Senior Director, Global Partnerships. “From raising a glass at the Elijah Craig Speakeasy onsite at Bethpage Black to savouring the moment at home with a Limited-Edition 2025 Ryder Cup Small Batch Bourbon, there are multiple ways for spectators to celebrate the 2025 Ryder Cup with Elijah Craig.”
