Rosemaund Farm Whisky has unveiled its second limited-edition release. The Orchard Cut is a 10-year-old English single malt inspired by springtime on the Herefordshire farm where the whisky is made, matured and shaped by its surroundings.
Arriving just eight months after Rosemaund’s debut expression, The Orchard Cut is matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks, allowing the distillery’s early spirit to take on a bright, lifted character rather than a heavy-handed cask influence.
Think green apple, orchard blossom and cool cucumber on the nose, followed by citrus oils, fresh herbs and a creamy, buttery texture on the palate. The finish is gently savoury, with lingering green fruit and soft spice – less roaring fireside dram, more first warm evening of the year.
The whisky’s name is no empty pastoral flourish. Rosemaund’s maturing stock sits surrounded by apple trees, and co-founder James Dashwood Chase describes The Orchard Cut as “the true taste of English spring” – energetic, fresh and unmistakably Herefordshire in character.
Only 1,500 bottles of The Orchard Cut will be released, making it Rosemaund’s smallest outturn to date. Of those, 750 bottles are being made available via ballot from 1-29 May 2026, priced at £126 each, with the remainder allocated to selected specialist retailers and on-trade partners.
Better still, we have one bottle to give away. Enter now for your chance to win.
