Tai Verdes: "I’ve been on the internet too long"

What item do you always take on holiday? Sunglasses? A good book? A big bag of prophylactics? (Best of luck.)  

"My electric toothbrush," says Tai Verdes. "That’s shit will never leave my side.

As you can see from the photo on the right, the man speaks the truth. 

He also has a great mentality for life: "I already got the job I want and enough food to eat. Again, everything else is a nice lil whip cream topping." 

Good thing that toothbrush is always with him. 

Life

What upcoming project(s) are you most excited about?

My debut album is coming this year and I will probably die of happiness once that’s finished. Be on standby to revive me.

What is your proudest professional accomplishment?

Doing something that I love. That’s all you can ask for. I finally found a job in which I love the process.

If you could change one thing about your career, what would it be?

Nothing. I used to be miserable. Everything now is house money.

What do you hope to achieve that you haven’t yet?

I already got the job I want and enough food to eat. Again, everything else is a nice lil whip cream topping.

Outside of your family, who is / was your biggest inspiration?

Right now I think Billie Eillish and Tyler the Creator are two people who have kept their personalities, music, and content creation at such a high level. That’s what I’m aiming for.

Tell us something nobody knows about you…

That’s impossible. You can pay anyone to find out everything about me. I’m too young, I’ve been on the internet too long.

Style

What’s your favourite item of clothing – and what does it mean to you?

Anything that other people wouldn’t wear. Also colours.

I’m not really attached to clothes. I do like style though.

Favourite accessory – watch / jewellery / etc – and why is it special to you?

I try not to attach myself to certain pieces because that’s how your style can be stagnant.

However, there is this flame metal necklace that I love to wear. I just think its cool.

What items do you take on holiday and why?

My electric toothbrush. That’s shit will never leave my side.

Is there an item you threw away – or lost – that you really miss?

No. I just find new things to wear or buy. If I loved it that much I’ll just take a picture of it.

That gives me the same feeling of having the item.

What’s next on your shopping list?

Only thing I want is a new computer. I’m typing these answers right now and I wish the screen was a little bit bigger.

What would you buy if money was no object?

I would just give opportunities to my family. That’s all.
