Event Details
This season the BFI Southbank is celebrating the works of Al Pacino, nominee of eight Academy Awards and inexplicably, winner of none. (Then again, he's only 73, so time's on his side.)
As well as extended screenings of his classic gangster roles in The Godfather and Scarface, the season provides the perfect opportunity to see some of his earlier and lesser known works. See him go from young and baby-faced in The Panic in Needle Park, to the gravelly, haggard-looking Pacino we know and love in classics such as Heat, as well as sometimes overlooked performances in The Devil's Advocate and Donnie Brasco.
