This summer it's all about cycling and whilst the Tour de France is for the professionals, Broadgate are offering cycling amateurs the chance to test your speed in a StreetVelodrome. On Thursday 7 August, fanatics can channel their enthusiasm and cycling ability on a pop-up velodrome.
For those of you with a competitive streak – or if you just want to see the look of defeat on the faces of your work colleagues, then you can attempt a two lap time trial with the chance to compete for the televised SportPersuit StreetVelodrome Series Super Final. The final will see the very best amateurs from the regional heats, plus two Broadgate wildcards compete to win the series by joining up with pro riders including Olympic gold medallist Craig Maclean MBE, Commonwealth games medallist Ross Edgar and elite rider and TV presenter Anna Glowinski.
The Broadgate SportPersuit StreetVelodrome will take place on Thursday 7 August in Exchange Square. Registration opens at 9am with the final taking place at 5pm. For more information visit broadgate.co.uk/streetvelodrome
