Want to get fit after the festive period? Broadgate is bringing back its popular Broomball nights at the open-air Broadgate Ice Rink in Exchange Square, giving you a chance to get an adrenaline rush and play a bit of competitive sport against your colleagues.

If the photos didn't give it away, Canadian-born Broomball is a recreational ice game that is traditionally played in an ice hockey rink. The game revolves around players hitting a small ball around the ice with a stick called a broom.

Each Tuesday evening five teams of eight (six players on the rink from each team on the rink – two reserves to swap in/out) are invited to battle in mini tournaments on Broadgate Ice Rink. Private hire is also available for mini-leagues, and once you're finished you can either celebrate or commiserate in The Tasting Room, and recover with some well deserved buckets of beer and food.

The cost for each team is £100 (based on a full team of eight) or £12.50 per person, including kit hire. For more information and how to take part visit broadgate.co.uk/ice or email ice@broadgate.co.uk.
