From the 27th November until the 20th December, The Leadenhall Building will be transporting visitors back in time with an 80s themed après-ski Christmas experience.

The space will be transformed with faux trees, chalet bars, attendants in brightly coloured ski suits and even an authentic Courchevel ski lift cable car for guests to enjoy.

Food stalls will also be serving bespoke après-ski themed menus – think plenty of melted cheese and mulled wine – and The Cheesegrater’s very own Black Sheep Coffee will be running a pop-up Chalet bar throughout the day and into the evening, Monday to Friday.

Taking pride of place will be an arcade-style ski simulator which will be available for everyone to enjoy as they immerse themselves in ‘Christmas at The Leadenhall Building’ and, to encourage some friendly competition, there will be a ski simulator tournament every Wednesday evening led by a compare with live leader boards.

The Christmas cheer will last the whole working week, with Wednesday nights featuring live festive music and Thursdays playing host to a pop-up cinema showing Christmas classics such as Home Alone, Elf and Love Actually. On Fridays, busy City workers will be able to take advantage of a present-wrapping service, featuring custom-designed wrapping paper and ribbons.

The Leadenhall Building earned its nickname The Cheesegrater on account of its distinctive triangular shape and is the tallest completed skyscraper in the City of London. The après-ski- themed festivities will take place in the building’s half-acre public galleria, at the base of the building at 122 Leadenhall Street.
