The Lord Mayor of London will turning up in all his velvety finery to turn on the Christmas lights at the City's ornate indoor market, Leadenhall, once again this year. Taking place at the historic market, which was designed by in 1881 by Sir Horace Jones, the ceremony will be accompanied by carols from Lloyds Choir and the City Chamber Choir, plus there'll be warming mulled wine and mince pies aplenty.
The Christmas lights will be turned on at Leadenhall market on 20 November at 5.15pm. For more info, visit cityoflondon.gov.uk
