Thrill-seekers: listen up. Here’s the perfect opportunity for you to take your addiction to (very literal) new heights.
The City Three Peaks challenge will give 40 nutters – sorry, Londoners – the chance to abseil down three of the City’s tallest, most iconic buildings: the Gherkin, the Cheesegrater and the Walkie Talkie.
The abseilers will descend a vertigo-inducing 1,916ft in total, with the challenges taking place one after another. The event hopes to raise more than £4m for The Outward Bound Trust and The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity.
Participants can enter as an individual, get a group together, or conquer the challenge as a relay team of three. Individual entrants must pay a fee of £75 and raise a minimum of £600 and teams must pay a fee of £150 and raise a minimum £1200.
