It’s your birthday! Hurray! Oh right, well, even if isn’t, we’ve found you the perfect excuse to buy yourself a present in the form of a shiny watch from the monthly Fellows watch sale. The Watch Sale has always showcased both vintage and modern timepieces, but this month the emphasis is definitely on the modern, with contemporary and current models from the likes of Rolex, Piaget, Jaeger-LeCoultre and IWC. Speaking of which, our favourite is Lot 159, an IWC gentleman's stainless steel Aquatimer wrist watch estimated to fetch between £1,400 and £2,000 (pictured).
Alongside vintage numbers from Omega and Rolex, plus some interesting military pieces, newer pieces on offer come from brands including Raymond Weil, Ball, Hamilton, and Baume & Mercier. Some of the watches are even boxed and come in ‘as new’ condition – you might even be able to get away with leaving a ‘brand new Piaget’ under the tree for your dad this Christmas.
