"Cheers to a lousy Christmas!" "And, hey, here's to a crappy New Year!" One of the many moments that the era-defining TV series, Friends, perfectly read the minds of adults all around the world at this particularly festive time.

Because what's more grown-up than realising Christmas isn't always the most wonderful time of the year?

Hold that thought, though. FriendsFest has been capturing the minds of visitors for years – with Comedy Central offering a behind-the-scenes look at one of the most famous sets in the world. 

And this year, to celebrate the show's 25th-anniversary FriendsFest has become FriendsFestive... and we can safely say it's the best decision anyone has ever made, ever. 

Celebrating the series' countless iconic Christmassy moments (Think Chandler shaking his bowl full of jelly, Phoebe ringing a charity bell outside Saks, Ross's holiday armadillo and, of course, Phoebe's legendary song for the whole gang), while giving fans the all-important tour around the show's distinguishing locations –Comedy Central has really gone all out. 

It may not always be the happiest time of year – but events like this really do go that extra mile towards making it a possibility

Yes, the apartments – half messy, half perfectly decorated tree included – Central Perk and fake snow all make an appearance, but so too do some unexpected features.

From Joey's Pizza slices (the size of your face no-less), to a Phoebe Buffay impersonator, to specially cooked up cocktails according to the six characters' personalities – nothing has been left out and the result is a really nostalgic and fun weeknight affair.

There's also the opportunity to have your photo taken on the Central Perk sofa and a video created of your very own version of the "I'll be there for you" opening sequence. Seriously. So "When it hasn't been your day, your week, your month / Or even your year..." the Comedy Central team will be there for you. 

Running until 21 December, we couldn't recommend this one enough. Sure, it may not always be the happiest time of year – but events like this really do go that extra mile towards making it a possibility. Even if just for the night.
