Event Details
In the summertime when the weather is fine – we want gin, and LOTS of it. Luckily, Corney & Barrow is here to help quench our thirst this July. The bar chain's Gin Garden menus are available at all its venues, including Devonshire Terrace, serving such refreshing delights as the Thyme To Think – made with Hendrick’s, thyme syrup and egg white, and the Lavender Bramble, which features a juicy dollop of raspberry jam, plus lavender syrup.
The bars will also be running Hendricks Martini masterclasses on 28 July from 6-7pm at Devonshire Terrace, and on 29 July from 6-7pm at Masons Avenue, where Hendricks enthusiasts can join the brand's global ambassador Duncan McRae as they trace (and taste) their way through the family tree of the legendary tipple. Tickets are £10 per person.
If you're up for more gin-based revelry, make another visit to Devonshire Terrace for its Hendricks pop-up bar, where punters can take part in a penny farthing race – probably best not to join in if you've had one too many already. Although if you do manage to complete the course (without falling over) you'll get a complimentary Hendricks G&T. We're not arguing with that...
