Inspired 50 launch event

City workers who fancy giving something back to communities beyond their own can come along to an evening of inspirational stories and networking with a group of philanthropists called the Inspired 50.

Brought to you by Inspired Escapes and City Philanthropy, The Inspired 50 brings together 50 Londoners who have  become ‘adventure philanthropists’, with the aim of inspiring others to do the same. 

At the event, which takes place on Feb 16 at Glaziers Hall, four members of the Inspired 50 will give tips on how to bring about social change to communities through adventure travel. 

The speakers will be Julia Immonen, uthor, Sports Sky News presenter, Sport for Freedom founder; Steve Partridge, City entrepreneur, ultra marathon desert runner; Sonal Kadchha, City Professional and co-founder of charity ETC; and Dave Cornthwaite, author, filmmaker and record-breaking  Expedition1000 adventurer. 

Expect inspiring stories from extreme travel expeditions which have raised thousands for communities around the globe. The event is seed funded by the City of London Corporation’s Charity City Bridge Trust.

The event takes place at 6.30pm on February 16, at Glaziers Hall.
