Tsai, designer of the famed Alexander McQueen skull, presents his second solo show exhibition The Harmonious Society at The Fine Art Society. The textured works are handcrafted using a 3000-year-old Chinese technique known as lacquer carving: in which a wood panel is engraved by hand and then coated in several layers of natural lacquer.
As you can see from the gallery above, the results are quite spectacular. We suggest you don your cape and fly on down.
