Your January is about to get less gloomy courtesy of Lumiere London, a new four-day light festival that's set to pretty up the capital's most iconic streets and buildings. The nocturnal walking trail is the work of reative global trust Artichoke, and artists including Julian Opie and Janet Echelman have created work for the festival. Expect large-scale video-mapped projections, interactive pieces, and plenty of twinkling.
