Event Details
If you're a lover of modern art, listen up – from 9-22 April, the Opera Gallery will be exhibiting works from not one, but two groundbreaking artists. The exhibition, curated by Jean-David Malat, will show both Mauro Corda and Gérard Alary's work for the very first time in London.
All the work exhibited from both artists will be exploring themes of the body and soul. Corda's iconic sculpture plays with the form of the human body with contortion and stretching, while Alary's abstract compositions, strongly influenced by Francis Bacon, are a window into a tortured outlook, and have often been compared to a descent into hell. Strong stuff.
