New Zealand's Master Sommelier, Cameron Douglas, will be bringing his expert knowledge to London when he plays host to an exclusive tasting event and launch with The Family of Twelve: a fraternity of twelve of New Zealand’s most prestigious and enduring artisanal wineries. 

On April 16 Douglas will host The New Zealand Cellar’s ‘Summer Case’ launch tasting, offer tasting sessions to guests in an informal, educational environment.

The wines available to taste on the night, and those in the Summer Case, will be Kumeu River Pinot Gris, Villa Maria Cellar Selection Syrah, Millton Chenin Blanc, Craggy Range Te Muna Road Riesling, Ata Rangi Sauvignon Blanc, Palliser Estate Pinot Noir, Neudorf Vineyards Tom’s Block Pinot Noir, Fromm La Strada Sauvignon Blanc, Nautilus Estate Pinot Noir Chardonnay Classic Cuvee Brut, Lawson’s Dry Hills Gewürztraminer, Pegasus Bay Sauvignon Semillon and Felton Road Elms Chardonnay.

Tickets cost £45 per head, which includes exclusive access to the penthouse, a selection of Neal’s Yard cheese to nibble on and the chance to enjoy each of the twelve wines being showcased by the vineyards representatives.

The New Zealand Cellar’s wine case will be available on the night at a reduced price of £190 for all twelve bottles, or you can also purchase each bottle of plonk individually.

The New Zealand Cellar’s wine tasting event takes place on 16 April between 7pm and 9pm, at New Zealand House.
