In case you haven't heard, the Red Bull Air Race World Championship is back – and this year it's bigger and better than ever. Described as one the fastest and most exhilarating motorsports on the planet, the race is a combination of high speed, low altitude flying and extreme manoeuvrability. Taking part this year will be 12 elite pilots, with previous World Champion Paul Bonhomme returning to defend his title and to try and bag his third win in a row. Another addition to the 2014 season is the Challenger Cup, giving newly qualified pilots valuable experience and the opportunity to compete against the best in the world.

2014 will see the the Air Race take place at Ascot, where a 5km race marked by race-bespoke Air Gates will be held above the racecourse. Spectators can either watch from ground level in the grandstand or enjoy the Red Bull hospitality area – providing unparalleled views and commentary of all the action. Hospitality packages will offer guests the best seats in the house, as well as exclusive access to pilots, race teams and planes – a must for any flying enthusiast.

The Red Bull World Championship takes place on 16-17 August at Ascot Racecourse. Race Club Packages are £175 per person with discounted rates for children and fine dining available from £208pp. For more information and tickets visit ascot.co.uk/redbullairracemeeting.
