The Northcote Gallery is hosting a private viewing of new paintings by Richard Whadcock on Thursday, 27 October at 6.30pm.
One of the UK's leading contemporary artists, Richard Whadcock specialises in atmospheric landscapes – most notably of the South Downs and East Sussex Coast, near his Brighton home.
The new works promise the Whadcock speciality of slightly eerie serenity. His paintings have been described as seeming "to come out of the wall and hug you in mists."
