Jazz isn’t just confined to dark, smoky clubs – in fact, as the City of London Festival’s Jazz with a View series of events proves, it’s just as at home in a bright, airy outdoor setting, perched over the City’s skyline.
On 8 July, Roberto Pla is playing one such venue – the tambolero will be performing with his rhythmic drum- and brass-led musicians at a rooftop venue at One New Change, overlooking St Paul’s Cathedral, in an intimate and epic setting unlike any you'll have caught him at before.
