Sun's out – and you and your guns can get into the summer spirit by enjoying a host of free outdoor screen and live performances in the City.
Summer Live at Broadgate will show all of this summer's key sporting events including the Rugby World Cup on its giant screen. There will also be iconic film screenings, including a host of silent movies such as City Lights starring Charlie Chaplin and The Circus featuring Laurel and Hardy. Kids big and small can settle down to watch the likes of Ratatouille, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and The Goonies, while 1980s classics such as Top Gun and Back to the Future will keep retro-lovers happy.
Highlights from the Summer Live calendar include open-air performances of Wind in the Willows and Twelfth Night by the London Contemporary Theatre, while the world’s only pop-up StreetVelodrome is back on Exchange Square for a heart-pounding theatre of cycle sport, where members of the public can come along and test their speed. Bradley Wiggo is about to have some competition...
Summer Live events at Broadgate Circle take place between 15 June and 30 October. For a full list of summer events, and more info, visit broadgate.co.uk
