London Cocktail Week returns to the capital from 5-11 October, so grab a glass, a healthy handful of Alka-Seltzer and get involved in the delicious, booze-fuelled revelry.

If the Old Fashioned is your cocktail of choice, you're not alone – it's reputedly the most commonly ordered cocktail in London these days. If you want to make a knockout OF at home, whether you're learning from scratch or perfecting your art, you can drink in the tutelage (quite literally) at bourbon brand Woodford Reserve's pop-up bar underneath a railway arch in Shoreditch, with masterclasses priced at £15 each. London's best bartenders will also be on hand to show you the tricks of the trade: expect tips and variations on the classic beverage from the likes of the Savoy's Eric Lorincz, Nightjar's Marian Beke and more for a mere fiver each.
