They always say the best is saved to last, and The Cleopatra Exhibition on 22 May is certain not to disappoint. Under his guise RubiCANE, Angry Bees artist Ian Bruce will conclude The Clerkenwell Design Week by hosting an intimate talk on his latest work Cleopatra. Widely acclaimed as being a controversial and challenging piece of erotic art, Bruce explores the myth and design of Egyptian pharaoh Cleopatra's infamous 'angry bees'. Expect to be immersed into Bruce's deepest and darkest thoughts and find out his inspiration and concept behind the piece being showcased for the very first time.
