Event Details
Road test The Rapha Nocturne circuit ahead of the best amateur racers and the pros. If you decide to don your high vis jacket and go-faster trainers, you'll get to cycle past the iconic landmarks of London such as Guildhall, Cheapside and St Paul’s and the scenic sights of neighbouring Kent.
The event is open to all abilities, racing styles and ages. Newbie cyclists get some road time as family rides will take place for the under 12s. Whilst the over 40s can compete in the Masters Race.
Make sure to watch, or if you're feeling particularly adventurous take part in, the Folding Bike Race. Men in sharp suits will run to their bicycles ready to race. The Pennyfarthing Race should also be quite the spectacle.
As the night falls, the elites come out to play. Keep your eyes peeled for Team Wiggins.
If you're more of a spectator than a sprinter, you won't be left behind as there's plenty of live music and food stalls to keep you entertained. The Rapaha Clubhouse is fully kitted out with TV screens where you can watch Rapha films and purchase the Rapha Nocturne collection. Drop by the photo booth, race your friends at Rollapaluza, or grab an espresso from the Rapha H-Van as Rapha DJs keep things lively in the Rider Village.
Lycra optional.
