Event Details
Events which bring world-class brands together in one easily locateable place tend to be a hit for the time-poor, so The Royal Exchange's inaugural Watch Week 2014 is a welcome addition to the City's roster.
Throughout the week, resident brands and experts from the watch world will be on hand to talk to customers, in a celebration of timepieces and their accessories. Globally recognised luxury watch brands such as Omega, Montblanc and Watches of Switzerland will lead the way in showcasing key models, brand new collections and masterclasses.
Forward-thinking, modern brands such as Bremont and Watchfinder & Co. further cater for the young discerning City gent, with their innovative collections and thrill-seeker appeal of quirky and cutting-edge designs.
Jewellers Kojis and Searle & Co. Fine Jewellery will showcase extensive previously-owned vintage timepieces for those customers looking for a story behind their beloved keepsakes, and collections tell the story from the pocket watch to the dress watch.
Further brands such as Boodles, Tiffany & Co., Tateossian will be showing their watch collections in addition to their jewellery lines, with Boodles showcasing a Patek Philippe range from Art Basel Fair. Many brands will also exhibit their functional yet stylish accessories for that special watch purchase, from Smythson’s watch boxes to Sage Brown Fine Leather’s practical watch rolls.
Special activities will be taking place in the courtyard over lunchtime every weekday, between 12–2pm, and further activities and displays in all watch stores.
