Wednesdays are the new Thursdays, as they say. Shiny new City bar Forge (you might know it as the new Abacus) is bringing some Wall Street glamour with its new weekly event, Wolf of Wednesdays.
The bar, which opened in June, is for those who work hard and play hard. Alongside a heady steak menu, there are some new cocktails on the bill – known just by a number, meaning it's a bit of a lottery what your next drink might be, and some fun weekly events such as Wolf of Wednesdays.
Each week, there are a couple of special experiences alongside its superior food and cocktail offering. The first is the Forged Encounter, where a specific set menu of food and cocktails are on offer; and the second is the Roast Rib Feast, offering guests two courses with either beer or cocktails for a maximum price of £50. And with band The London Essentials playing all night, it's set to start the weekend off – two days early, but who's counting? – in style.
