The Cartier Racing Awards have been European racing’s definitive awards since 1991. Now in its landmark 28th year, the illustrious Awards were unveiled earlier this week at The Dorchester Hotel, London.

The event celebrated the best of the European horseracing, including the top horses of 2018 and one special person. Trainer John Gosden dominated in 2018, with his horses capturing five awards – Roaring Lion won the Cartier Horse Of The Year and the Cartier Three-Year-Old Colt, while the 2017 Cartier Horse Of The Year Enable was the Cartier Older Horse, Stradivarius the Cartier Stayer and Too Darn Hot the Cartier Two-Year-Old Colt.
