Its contemporary, bold sets are individually painted and hand-carved, and they're so mesmerising that you'll have to focus double hard to avoid checkmate.
Inspired by the Art Of Chess exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery in 2012, Purling's Art Chess range features designs from 20 British-based artists including Damilola Odusote, Olivia Pilling and Richard Morrissey. There's also a Dark Chess version with an illuminated board, which is pretty darn cool if you ask us. We're planning on bringing that light up number along to our next rave.
