Some yachts are built for casual cruising, some for exploration, and others for sheer joy. Moon Sand falls in the latter camp – it is basically a floating toy box.

The 15-strong crew will make sure you enjoy all the extras that come with Moon Sand, including a chase boat, two Seadoos, two Seabobs, snorkel equipment, two e-foil surfboards, two electric surfboards, a wake board, a wake skate board
and kiteboarding equipment.

The 55m 2021 Lürssen yacht also has an ingenious pool, with a floor that can be raised and lowered – a great feature for young kids – as well as a counter current system for big ones.

Onboard, there’s plenty to enjoy too, including a gym. The main outdoor dining area on the upper deck aft has a large round table for ten, plus a huge sofa for taking in the panoramic views. There’s also a barbecue and pizza oven onboard, naturally. Her interiors are sumptuously decorated, with rich, tactile fabrics, cool module seating and bespoke pieces of furniture designed by Silverlining and Polarol. It’s swathed in natural light thanks to the large picture windows. But let’s face it, most of the time you’re going to be messing about on the water.

Moon Sand is available in the Med this summer from €475,000 per week via edmiston.com
