You used to be able to buy a tiger in London's most famous luxury department store, but unless you're Mike Tyson in The Hangover, that's not actually that useful. What you really need in your garden/hangar is a private jet to fly from the City to wherever you so choose, in truly inimitable style.
Luckily, a pop-up private jet shop, run rather bizarrely by Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson, is set to open in Harrods – selling six-seater Aeris Aviation jets, which can fly at up to 41,000 feet and reach a top speed of 430mph. Normally, a Gulfstream G650 can cost up to £41 million, but the Harrods Special Edition of the Eclipse 550 will be going on sale for a measly £2.2m.
The perfect present to pop on your Christmas wish list, then…
The Harrods Aeris Aviation pop-up is in-store for the entire month of August. For more info, visit aerisaviation.co.uk
