Aveqia’s expert chefs were on hand to tempt Square Mile readers and Qatar Tourism Authority guests with delicious Qatari inspired canapés, and gave live demonstrations and tips for creating a taste of exotic Arabian flavours at home.
Members of the Qatar Tourism Authority were also available to chat to guests about Qatar and the city of Doha – a place where the traditional souqs of the past meet the hotels and developments of the future.

In case you needed an excuse to watch the age-defyingly beautiful Naomi Campbell strut her stuff on the catwalk, this show's for charity. The Streatham-born model will kick off London Fashion Week this year with her runway show, where she will be showcasing pieces donated from fashion houses including Givenchy and Dolce & Gabbana.
Famous faces are a dead cert – in the past, Kate Moss, Diane von Furstenberg, Margherita Missoni and Daphne Guinness have all appeared in the show. All pieces will be auctioned on the night to raise funds for the Disaster Emergency Committee, which includes the Ebola Crisis Appeal and Ebola Survival Fund.
