The Pepys relaunch party

If you hadn't guessed already, we like a party.

And to celebrate its reopening, The Pepys Riverside Bar & Dining – formerly known as riverside pub The Samuel Pepys – is about to throw one.

Situated on the north bank of the Thames, the bar's balcony boasts some impressive views of the City and beyond, with a vista that stretches across the water to the Tate Modern and The Globe.

At the relaunch party, customers and friends will be able to sample the bar's new menu and cocktail list, or sip Prosecco from the new Prosecco bar. There will also be music from Sliding Vinyl DJs.

Party on!

The Pepys Riverside Bar & Dining is now open.

To attend the guest list-only relaunch party on 17 February, please email hello@thepepys.co.uk

Fashion for Relief show

In case you needed an excuse to watch the age-defyingly beautiful Naomi Campbell strut her stuff on the catwalk, this show's for charity. The Streatham-born model will kick off London Fashion Week this year with her runway show, where she will be showcasing pieces donated from fashion houses including Givenchy and Dolce & Gabbana.

Famous faces are a dead cert – in the past, Kate Moss, Diane von Furstenberg, Margherita Missoni and Daphne Guinness have all appeared in the show. All pieces will be auctioned on the night to raise funds for the Disaster Emergency Committee, which includes the Ebola Crisis Appeal and Ebola Survival Fund.

We're practising our best "Blue Steel" pose already.

Tickets cost £50. To buy them, visit ticketmaster.co.uk

Love/Hate Valentine's Late

Isn't it ironic that Valentine's weekend falls on Friday 13? Alanis Morrisette would have had a field day. The irony's not lost on The Museum of Brands though, whose adult-only late night event focuses on the tragedy and comedy of this fateful celebration. Expect free booze, live entertainment, a Time Tunnel challenge, prizes and even dancing.
