Project Maximus is the Dutch shipbuilder’s biggest superyacht to date, but it’s not just size that matters with this remarkable vessel – there are covetable features throughout that speak for themselves.

It’s designed to put the owner experience at the fore, where the unprecedented master suite has a private exterior deck which stretches the entire length of the yacht.

The pièce de résistance is the swimming pool – not only is it huge, but go one deck above it and there’s a hot tub; one below and there’s another. Waterfalls cascade between the three decks linking the pools together.

The yacht was designed by Clifford Denn, who drew on his experience of designing for cruise lines such as P&O, reconfiguring work and guest areas to maximise space.

Space inside is equally as flexible as it is outside, with the ability to convert two of the guest staterooms into one large suite, depending on how many need to be accommodated.

Final flourishes come in the form of a theatre room and a firepit.

Go large or go home, right?
