Royal Ascot 2022 | A racing certainty

Royal Ascot is the pinnacle of the Summer Season. With more than 300 years of history, it still likes to keep things fresh: this year, it has expanded its fine dining offering, with additional guest chefs bringing its Michelin star tally up to nine

With a history as rich as it is long, Royal Ascot sits proudly as the jewel in the crown of horse racing.

As one of the largest and most prestigious racecourses in the world, Ascot has been hosting some of the finest racing events, including Royal Ascot, for more than 300 years.

Running from Tuesday 14 to Saturday 18 June, Royal Ascot promises five days of unparalleled racing, high fashion, fine dining and pageantry.

The Royal Meeting is world renowned, offering an unforgettable experience in a unique setting. Underpinned by a rich and deep-rooted heritage, it has not only survived the rigours of time, but has thrived.

An experience meant to be shared, Royal Ascot is the perfect occasion for socialising. The Royal Meeting hosts a choice of four separate enclosures, each with its own ambiance and energy, and has plenty to offer in terms of dining; a three-course a la carte luncheon, gourmet picnic, Champagne afternoon tea or Fine Dining in one of Ascot’s restaurants, which in turn offer differing cuisines, atmospheres, and views of the racecourse.

Synonymous with excellence and steeped in history, the spectacle that is Royal Ascot promises to bring five days of high-drama

New for 2022, Holyroodhouse is a light and airy space at the centre of one of Ascot’s most memorable floral garden settings. The space includes a bright first-floor restaurant with a fresh and contemporary look and feel, as well as a large balcony overlooking the racing preparations in the Pre-Parade Ring and the kaleidoscope of colour in the gardens below.

Michelin-starred chef Brett Graham headlines this brand-new restaurant, bringing his elegant dishes with modern British flare to Royal Ascot, alongside Möet & Chandon Grand Vintage Champagne on arrival, and afternoon tea served with Möet & Chandon Rosé Impérial Champagne.

The Veranda will also be welcomed as a new and exciting addition for 2022. Located at the superb vantage point of the winning post on the inside of the track, this exclusive restaurant combines private indoor tables with flexible outdoor seating to overlook the panorama of Royal Ascot, while putting you right alongside the racing action.

The innovative à la carte lunch menu, designed by award-winning caterers, offers a sumptuous grazing-style Fine Dining experience, with an array of chef stations providing a wealth of dishes for all tastes, rounded off by an extensive afternoon tea accompanied by Möet & Chandon Rosé Impérial Champagne.

Ollie Dabbous, co-founder, and executive chef of Michelin-starred London restaurant HIDE, returns to host the Royal Ascot restaurant, Sandringham. Situated in a sunny corner of the Lavender Courtyard, the striking orangery inspired structure is an elegant space, evocative of an English country orchard, with a feature bar perfect for summer socialising and a large deck with lounge-style rattan furniture providing a relaxing outside space.
