London has no shortage of rooftop bars – but none soar quite like Wagtail. Perched high above the City, split across two lofty floors and wrapped by 360-degree skyline views, this slick, sky-high retreat is redefining what it means to drink and dine with a view.

At its heart is a contemporary restaurant framed by not one but two private terraces with views of iconic London landmarks including Tower Bridge, St Paul’s, the Shard, the Gherkin, and the Walkie Talkie.

Wagtail’s crowning jewel? The Nest. Suspended above the skyline, this ultra-exclusive private dining room seats just ten, offering one of the most intimate –and Instagrammable – tables in town.

The rooftop terrace bar, meanwhile, keeps the energy up even when the sun’s gone down. Fully covered, heated and always humming with life, it hosts Sunset Sessions every weekend – resident DJs spinning house-laced soundtracks as golden hour melts into moonlight. It’s the kind of place where you start with civilised small talk and end dancing beneath the stars.

And the drinks? Wagtail’s new cocktail menu, dreamt up with PATRÓN, is tequila with swagger – bold, bright, and built for long summer evenings.

Highlights include a punchy Spicy Tommy’s (PATRÓN Silver, lime, agave and green bullet chillies) and the Green Spicy Margarita (think coriander, lemongrass, pineapple cordial and a healthy Tajín rim). But for the frozen faithful, the Watermelon Slushy and Spicy Mango Slushy are the scene-stealing sippers – fruity, icy, and destined for double-tap fame.

Brunch, naturally, comes with plenty of altitude. Wagtail’s Bottomless Brunch is a weekend ritual for those who like their eggs served with a side of skyline. Dishes veer from refined – Eggs Benedict, Wagyu Beef Tartare – to full-blown indulgence, like the Native Blue Lobster & Crayfish Roll or a succulent sirloin from Grassroots Farm.

Add 90 minutes of free-flowing Prosecco, Mimosas, or tequila-laced cocktails and you’ve got yourself a party before it’s even 2pm.

Prices? Surprisingly grounded. Two courses start at £35, three at £39.50 – and add free-flowing drinks from £32. Available on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays, it’s one of the best-value brunches in town. Whatever your excuse – brunch, birthdays or just because – Wagtail turns every occasion into a sky-high celebration.
