Big yacht energy | The best superyachts to charter

By the time we’re allowed to finally go on holiday, we want to go big. Superyacht big. Here are the best superyachts for charter in 2021

At the top of most people’s post-Covid wishlist is surely a holiday. Well, perhaps several pints with your mates in the pub first. But then a really big holiday.

The only benefit of being stuck at home for months on end is hopefully you’ve managed to save up some money.

No holiday in 2020? Let’s hope we can double down in 2021.

There’s no doubt that social distancing will still be a consideration, so why not go the hull hog (sorry), and charter a superyacht?

One way to ensure your bubble isn’t burst is to leave land – and the rest of the world – in your wake. Here’s our list of the top five superyachts to charter this summer.

Cloudbreak

A 75m expedition yacht, Cloudbreak was designed for extreme exploration with the ability to withstand the harshest of weather conditions.

Custom-built for an owner with a passion for the great outdoors, she is named after a legendary surfing reef in the South Pacific.

She is ideal for modern day explorers, fully equipped for epic adventures in the most remote destinations on the planet, and features two large tenders, one helipad for heli-skiing and heli-fishing, and a complete range of water toys.

Cloudbreak is available for charter in Norway in May 2021, and Eastern Mediterranean Sea for Summer 2021, from €750,000 per week.

DB9 is available for charter in the Bahamas and Caribbean Sea this winter, before sailing to the West Mediterranean Sea for Summer 2021. Price from US$250,000 per week.

Khalilah is available for charter in the Mediterranean Sea for Summer 2021, from €255,000-265,000 per week.

A dramatic open staircase connects the upper and lower decks, while full-length glass doors flood the space with natural light.

She combines the very latest technology with an impressive top speed of 25 knots, taking high-speed cruising to the next level.

Made entirely from aluminium, she offers sumptuous staterooms, an open-air jacuzzi, a beach club wellness area, as well as her own cinema.
