The Ariel’s aluminium perimeter frame is part of the brand’s genetic make-up – and makes a prominent appearance in its new Ace motorbikes.
Milled from solid billet, it takes 70 hours of machining time and is welded by hand. The result is part structural masterpiece, part work of mechanical art. The brand leans on Honda’s expertise here for a 173bhp V4 powerplant, which is enough to propel the Ace to speeds in excess of 165mph.
There’s ABS, traction control, and optional dual clutch transmission. And then there’s that exhaust note…
