This may look like it'd be more at home on your mantelpiece, but it's actually a fully-functioning motorcycle built from the ground up by Danish manufacturer Lauge Jensen, which considers every bike it makes to be a "work of art" – and not just on the outside: the engine packs in 1800cc while somehow managing to comply with Euro 4 standards (because when you're driving something made of 24ct gold you want it to be as economical as possible).
The bikes don't always come in gold; each motorcycle is completely personalised to its owner's specifications. If the lure of precious metals is just too much, though, one like this is yours for £550,000. Just be careful where you park it.
