The story began with a simple observation by Bo van Langeveld during his career in Finance. He watched as colleagues discreetly shed their uncomfortable formal leather shoes beneath their office desks. This experience led him to partner with Allan Baudoin, and together they embarked on a mission to create a fashion footwear brand dedicated to crafting comfortable, handmade loafers and shoes that would cater to all foot types.
Roger Federer's Royal Moment
Last summer, Baudoin & Lange reached a significant milestone when tennis legend Roger Federer graced the esteemed grounds of Wimbledon. Federer, an eight-time Wimbledon champion, epitomised elegance in a sophisticated beige suit, accentuated by a striped blue shirt and, most notably, the iconic Sagan loafers by Baudoin & Lange.
It was a serendipitous event to see the tennis great wearing the loafers, as Federer had organically purchased them. The sportsman joined a long line of talent, including Formula 1 driver George Russell, Elton John, and architect Norman Foster in trusting Baudoin & Lange as their loafer brand of choice.
