BOSS has always been in the business of sharp silhouettes and signature details – so it’s no surprise that its eyewear line, produced in partnership with Safilo Group, brings that same tailoring mentality to both its sunglasses and optical frames.

This year, the brand has rolled out two distinct collections across Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter, proving that eyewear can be every bit as expressive as a well-cut suit.

At the heart of this year’s launches are two opposing but complementary design codes: Signature Light and Signature Bold. The first does exactly what it says on the tin – lightweight, slimline frames crafted from advanced materials like stainless steel and Acetate Renew (a forward-thinking blend of 27% recycled and 43% bio-based content). Expect refined silhouettes, polished finishes and a minimal take on branding.

In contrast, Signature Bold leans into heftier acetate frames with pronounced temples, three-dimensional stripes and visible core-wire detailing. If Light is the grey two-piece, Bold is the double-breasted pinstripe.

The Spring/Summer collection sets the tone with pilot, caravan and squared frame designs all rendered in modern combinations of stainless steel, acetate and recycled lenses.

The Carbon Fiber line also makes a return – building anything in this material is always a technical flex – one that delivers durability, lightness and flexibility.

By autumn, BOSS adds fresh layers. The Fall/Winter collection introduces new iterations of Signature Light and Signature Bold while debuting the BB Logo line – faceted acetate frames marked by a subtle monogram on the temples. Elsewhere, optical frames take centre stage, with squared silhouettes in carbon fibre and Acetate Renew underscoring the maison’s commitment to material innovation.

What ties both drops together is a dedication to sustainability without sacrificing luxury. Across the board, lenses are made with at least 50% recycled content, while Acetate Renew – fast becoming a house signature – strikes the balance between bio-based craftsmanship and a premium feel. BOSS understands that modern consumers want more than style; they want substance, too.

Of course, eyewear is nothing without personality, and the 2025 lines serve it in spades. Signature Light caters to those who favour understated sophistication – the kind of frames that slip seamlessly from boardroom to beach club. Signature Bold, meanwhile, is for the head-turners, the scene-setters, the men who prefer their accessories to do the talking.

From the square-jawed pilot frames of summer to the richly hued opticals of winter, the message is clear: eyewear is no longer just about utility – it’s an extension of personal style. With these two collections, BOSS has delivered options for every mood, every moment and every season.
