Aventus by The House of Creed is a cult classic. Celebrating strength, power, and heritage, it is now the number one luxury men’s fragrance – and the most successful in the company’s history.

In 2010, sixth generation Master Perfumer Olivier Creed created Aventus to acknowledge the 250th year of The House of Creed.

Created for the the classic gentlemen, Aventus is synonymous with modern day elegance, but it was actually inspired by Napoleon Bonaparte. The French emperor was a renowned aficionado of fine fragrance, using approximately 60 litres a month. He’d even wear cologne into battle.

It’s this kind of bold and powerful attitude that embodies the Aventus man.

Sensual, audacious and contemporary, this rich and iconic Eau de Parfum combines tantalising head notes of lemon, pink pepper and Italian bergamot with a complementary fresh and floral heart of juicy pineapple, sweet jasmine and Indonesian patchouli. Rounding off this bold and elegant fragrance are the woody base notes of oakmoss, cedarwood and The House of Creed’s signature ingredient, ambergris, for the ultimate olfactive experience.

Creed refers to its fragrances as ‘Millesime’ quality – a winemaking term translating from the French for a great vintage. One of the unique joys of a perfume which is high in natural oils is that while the quality always remains 100%, the accents of the scent will vary with every vintage, much like a fine wine.

Both Olivier and Erwin Creed devote much of their time to sourcing and curating perfume oils around the globe, ensuring they only select the best ingredients from the best locations.

When it comes to Aventus, the result of all this hard work is an intoxicating blend that’s both original and versatile – a seasonless classic for any man.
