Moonshine Saloon
The definition of a rootin’-tootin’ good time can be found in Chelsea’s pop up BYOB haven, Moonshine Saloon. Taking immersive boozing to another level, you’re invited to enter their Wild West tailor shop to be fitted with a Stetson and cowboy gear, then smuggled to the saloon with a bottle of hard stuff you snug in from home. You’re then partnered up with other tables for dice or cards, then it’s down to making you cocktails with “that there liquor” and leading you to the bootlegged backroom for a whiskey shot. World Gin Day
Four days to sip and celebrate gin? Sure, we’ll clear our calendars. From June 7 to June 10 it’s a global celebration, with London bars including JW Simpson, City Social and Discount Suit Company taking part by supplying £6 cocktails for those with a festival pass. It’s a bit of a posh pub crawl and who can find fault in that? Pick of the bunch goes to the Bombay Sapphire Tuk Tuk Tour, which takes you through Mr Fogg’s venue collection to try a signature cocktail at each. Find out more: drinkup.london/our-festivals
Taste of London 2018
This foodie festival needs no introduction. This year, it’s back in Regent’s Park from 13th – 17th June with over 40 restaurants, tasting menus, an artisan market and a Champagne Club House to while away the summer weekend. Top of the list is Bar Douro, the Portuguese wine lover’s mecca. Started by Max Graham, who spent his childhood in Porto, this restaurant has had London lip-smacking over his salt cod fritters and Piri Piri Wings, not to mention the carefully curated Portuguese wine list. london.tastefestivals.com

If you can’t afford to fly to the Hamptons this year, feat not. Social Concierge - London and New York’s private dating club - is hosting a Montauk-inspired day party on Saturday June 23rd. “The Summer House” will be hosted at Fulham’s newest playpen, The Little Blue Door. Festibowl
If Aviary rooftop hadn’t already made Finsbury Square exciting enough, we now have outdoor lawn sports to contend with. Festibowl is on a mission to bring down the average age of lawn bowl enthusiasts. It does so with jargon like “Sudden Death Bowls” which, we assume, is still bowls. On a lawn. DANGER.
