As the pioneer of English sparkling wine, Nyetimber was the first UK producer to exclusively grow the three celebrated grape varieties for producing sparkling wine: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.
Regarded by many as England’s finest sparkling wine, Nyetimber is made from 100 percent estate-grown grapes from 11 vineyards spanning 425 hectares in West Sussex, Hampshire, and Kent.
Owner and CEO Eric Heerema acquired Nyetimber in 2006 and is the visionary and driving force behind the business today. He works with Head Winemaker Cherie Spriggs and Senior Winemaker Brad Greatrix to produce wine of extraordinary elegance and quality.
Spriggs was named ‘Sparkling Winemaker of the Year’ at the International Wine Challenge 2018 and remains the only woman as well as the only person outside the Champagne region of France to win this prestigious award.
The Ned’s Nyetimber Afternoon Tea with Crumbs & Doilies
Crumbs & Doilies has partnered with The Ned’s acclaimed Executive Pastry Chef Darian Schmidt to unveil The Ned’s first-ever collaboration Afternoon Tea, which sees Crumbs & Doilies’ best-loved bakes reimagined with a refined five-star twist.
