If you're the proud owner of one of the world's rarest whiskies, you'll want to house it in a seriously stylish decanter. Trust us, it won't look the same sitting in your drinks cabinet in a plastic bottle you bought down the Coop.

Luckily, The Savoy Collection has produced a decanter par excellence. Its specially-commissioned Art Deco-style version will hold one of the rarest Speyside whiskies available today – the 48 year old Macallan.

Set for release in April, the three bespoke, glass decanters have been produced by specialist glass creators, Glasstorm Studio in Tain, Scotland. Each decanter comes with a hand-engraved silver collar, and is presented in a hand-made box, which contains a piece of the original Savoy American Bar.

And the single malt Macallan it contains is about as coveteable as they come – it was discovered by whisky experts, Speciality Drinks, who came across a small parcel of it in a cask, aged for over 48 years in a sherry butt.

Unsurprisingly, the precious whisky and its fancy receptacle don’t come cheap – it'll cost you £18.5k

The Savoy Collection decanter will be available from April. For more info, visit shopatthesavoy.com
