Inclusions in diamonds, often viewed as imperfections, can significantly impact a diamond's value and beauty. Humbert explains, “Think of them like snowflakes. No two are the same.”
After careful study and recutting, the Flower Diamond was transformed into a 3.02-carat pear-shaped masterpiece. Its unique floral inclusion is now its centrepiece, graded by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) as a fancy brown-greenish yellow.
The subtle greenish hue is especially eye-catching, standing out beautifully against settings of silver, gold, and other diamonds. Humbert notes, “To the naked eye, it appears more green, which makes it incredibly striking.”
